AWARD PRESENTATION FOR 3rd PLACE

We are delighted that the Winchester Arms finished in 3rd Place in the Somerset CAMRA Pub of the Year 2025 awards.
This is a tremendous achievement for a small village pub and is a testament to the hard work of the whole team at The Winch! We also have to acknowledge the big contribution to this success from all the local breweries that we source our beers from. Breweries like Otter, Dartmoor, Glastonbury, Branscombe, Exeter, Hanlons, Fine Tuned and Hop Union et al. Our ciders primarily come from Sheppy's, Sandford Orchards & Rich's.

TRIP TO OTTER BREWERY
Thursday 26th June
We had great fun on our trip to Otter Brewery in 2023 - the first time we have been able to visit them since Covid Lockdown. Here are some photos of our group enjoying themselves (pity about the grumpy Landlord!!). We will be returning for another fun night on Thursday 26th June. Minibus from the Winch, the evening will include a Tour of the Brewery hosted by the Head Brewer, an evening sampling the wonderful beers on offer from Otter and a BBQ.
Booking essential in advance and payment in full at time of booking (the actual cost of the evening will be announced in due course).
